Sara’s musical influences include Joni Mitchell, David Wilcox, Patty Griffin, Sarah McLachlan, Jimmy LaFave, Nirvana, Shawn Colvin, the Clash, Radiohead, and Beth Orton. Although there is a shyness in Sara’s demeanor, it does not carry over into her songwriting or her way with a microphone. Jerm Pollet is a prolific and legendary Austin musician/comedian. In the past he’s been part of such acts as Missle Command, Gal’s Panic, and The Sinus Show. Nowadays he divides his time between playing with The Total Foxes, doing improv at Flipnotics, and selling authentic Italian Ices. A few years back he performed live on Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter, a comedy music radio show. While there, he penned these two improvised No Pants Day songs. About Stinky del Negro

Stinky came to Austin in ‘91 to attend UT art school and picked up the guitar from dorm-mates. He played in a few bands including “Solid Gold 40″; a high octane, tongue-in-cheek rock group that packed Austin clubs, toured, showcased at SXSW, receiving attention from publications from Pop Culture Press to Cosmopolitan Magazine and earning the notice of A & R reps from national labels such as MCA Records. Ultimately seeking his own voice, Del Negro combined his love of musical gadgetry, costumes, and writing off the wall songs. What resulted was a colorful and sometimes controversial invention: The Most Reverend Stinky del Negro.

Armed with a 3-piece horn section, a short attention span, and a sense of
humor, the Chicago-based band, Beatnik Turtle, has been performing and
writing alternative pop-rock music since the late 90s. With two albums
under their belt, including their (anti-)holiday opus, “Santa Doesn’t Like
You,” Beatnik Turtle has been played on various college radio stations and
syndicated radio programs across the country, including Dr. Demento.
Eventually, Beatnik Turtle hopes to start a “Pants Day” for those who take
the holiday too far and continue to wear no pants throughout the year as
Beatnik Turtle always does.
